#IMWAYR: Running out of nothingburger post titles!
I am continuing my grandiose reading slump—and honestly? Not feeling too bad about it! Books will still be there when I get back to them.
I mentioned last week that I've been playing a video game for a few weeks, Desta: The Memories Between—and like thirty minutes ago, I BEAT THE STORY MODE!!! I love this game—the story is affecting and poignant and wise, and the gameplay is engaging enough to make me feel all clever when I do something right, yet not so demanding that I can't sit and have a relaxing time playing. There are other game modes that I could play in order to explore the rest of the game's story—or I could switch over for now and play another game by the studio (Ustwo Games). Decisions, decisions! But all good decisions, thankfully.
Also, I mentioned last week that I was into the album With a Lightning Strike by Genevieve Stokes—and if I was into it then, I am INTO IT now. Geez! This album is literally getting me through—I love it so much.
Also, something you may or may not know about me is that I'm a huge technology nerd, and two of my main areas of nerd-dom are alarm clocks (Sony ICF-CD873 for life) and Nintendo game consoles (I will defend the Wii U until I die). AND SO IT WAS FATE to discover that Nintendo has created their own alarm clock—yes, really. It's called Alarmo, and it is perfect and I love it.
Last but certainly not least (probably most, in fact), I have an update on...
You're so right that books will be there when you're ready to read again. It sounds like you're really busy with school, so you should do want you want and need to relax some.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy all the feels, Max. I spend a lot of time at the used bookstore, enjoying the time talking with customers about, you know, reading! And, I have to be outside, no matter the weather, every day, loving nature, even in the city! Have a super week ahead!
ReplyDeleteOk. When in life do our loves combine?! I had to look up the alarm clock and for a Nintendo fan it seems perfect.
